La <strong>culture du sainfoin est exigeante<\/strong> en terme de contexte p\u00e9doclimatique et d\u2019itin\u00e9raire technique. Elle <strong>r\u00e9pond aux enjeux actuels de l\u2019agriculture<\/strong>. Sur le plan agronomique, la culture de cette l\u00e9gumineuse est <strong>peu consommatrice d\u2019intrants<\/strong>.  De plus, elle enrichit le sol en azote et sa racine pivot structure le sol. Il s&rsquo;agit donc d&rsquo;un excellent pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les <strong>tannins, en prot\u00e9geant la prot\u00e9ine, am\u00e9liorent l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 alimentaire des ruminants<\/strong>. Ils ont en outre une action anthelminthique naturelle et permettent de <strong>r\u00e9duire le recours aux antiparasitaires<\/strong>. Sur le plan environnemental, les<strong> tannins transforment le m\u00e9thane<\/strong>, diminuant ainsi l\u2019\u00e9mission de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. Par ailleurs, le sainfoin est une <strong>plante mellif\u00e8re qui favorise la biodiversit\u00e9<\/strong>.
