L<strong>\u2019infestation par les n\u00e9matodes gastro-intestinaux est une cons\u00e9quence in\u00e9vitable de l\u2019exploitation <\/strong>de l\u2019herbe par les ruminants. L&rsquo;association du parasitisme helminthique au p\u00e2turage est du au cycle biologique des n\u00e9matodes. <strong>Le parasitisme repr\u00e9sente donc une contrainte pathologique majeure en \u00e9levage<\/strong> et ce, sous toutes les latitudes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La gestion actuelle du parasitisme par les n\u00e9matodes gastro-intestinaux repose principalement sur l\u2019<strong>utilisation r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e d\u2019anthelminthiques de synth\u00e8se<\/strong>. Cela a conduit \u00e0 l\u2019<strong>apparition de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de r\u00e9sistance <\/strong>\u00e0 certaines mol\u00e9cules en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral entre 10 et 20 ans apr\u00e8s leur mise sur le march\u00e9. Le seul recours \u00e0 ces mol\u00e9cules de synth\u00e8se pour ma\u00eetriser les populations de n\u00e9matodes n\u2019est donc plus une option durable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, les <strong>contraintes d\u2019usage deviennent plus rigoureuses et certaines formulations gal\u00e9niques peuvent avoir des cons\u00e9quences sur la faune prairiale<\/strong>. La demande soci\u00e9tale exige \u00e9galement de r\u00e9duire de mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale l\u2019utilisation des mol\u00e9cules de synth\u00e8se en \u00e9levage. Pour ces raisons, <strong>des alternatives ont \u00e9t\u00e9 explor\u00e9es depuis quelques ann\u00e9es<\/strong>. Il y a un int\u00e9r\u00eat grandissant pour la gestion plus int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de ces infections. Notamment pour les petits ruminants qui sont confront\u00e9s les premiers \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes de r\u00e9sistance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De <strong>nombreuses \u00e9tudes ont travaill\u00e9 sur l\u2019utilisation de plantes bioactives pourvues de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s anthelminthiques<\/strong>. De plus, il y a un int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant pour les tanins condens\u00e9s depuis la fin des ann\u00e9es 90, en raison de ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s anti parasitaires.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
