En effet, elles cherchent \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux attentes soci\u00e9tales en conjuguant performance agronomique, rentabilit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique et pr\u00e9servation de l\u2019environnement. L\u2019utilisation des macro-algues pour l\u2019alimentation des animaux de ferme et la fumure des parcelles agricoles compl\u00e9mentairement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9pandage de fumiers se pratique depuis des si\u00e8cles dans les zones littorales tant en France qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. Actuellement, si cette pratique est devenue marginale, <strong>des extraits algaux transform\u00e9s industriellement sont de plus en plus utilis\u00e9s par des agriculteurs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Les solutions algosourc\u00e9es pour les sols et pour <strong>les plantes agissent \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents niveaux&nbsp;<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pour stimuler l\u2019<strong>activit\u00e9 biologique du sol<\/strong>, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pour <strong>un enracinement et une mycorhization<\/strong> accrus, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pour stimuler la <strong>photosynth\u00e8se<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pour stimuler les <strong>voies de signalisation hormonales <\/strong>de la plante <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pour accroitre l\u2019<strong>acquisition des min\u00e9raux<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En \u00e9levage, l&rsquo;\u00e9tude des algues se fait notamment pour leur <strong>potentielle action inhibitrice de la m\u00e9thanogen\u00e8se.<\/strong> Car elles renferment des quantit\u00e9s non n\u00e9gligeables de compos\u00e9s halog\u00e9n\u00e9s inhibiteurs forts et sp\u00e9cifiques de la m\u00e9thanogen\u00e8se. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-ast-global-color-5-color has-ast-global-color-0-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><strong>L\u2019utilisation des algues comme bio-solutions pr\u00e9sente de nombreux int\u00e9r\u00eats.<\/strong> Elles sont une <strong>biomasse renouvelable<\/strong> utilisant peu d\u2019eau douce et de terres arables. Leur usage comme <strong>biostimulants<\/strong> peut permettre une fertilisation raisonn\u00e9e et d\u00e9carbon\u00e9e. Enfin, elles peuvent \u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans une <strong>\u00e9conomie plus circulaire<\/strong> de l\u2019algue d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9e dans d\u2019autres secteurs. Toutefois, tout en \u00e9tant renouvelables, <strong>les biomasses d\u2019algues restent limit\u00e9es sur le march\u00e9 mondial<\/strong>. Par ailleurs, les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s d\u2019extraction doivent encore progresser vers des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s plus verts. Enfin, il est encore n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 et la compr\u00e9hension des <strong>modes d\u2019applications et\/ou modes d\u2019action des produits algosourc\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Place des algues dans les bio-solutions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les bio-solutions en productions v\u00e9g\u00e9tales et animales<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En productions v\u00e9g\u00e9tales, <strong>les bio-solutions englobent le cycle v\u00e9g\u00e9tatif complet<\/strong> en utilisant des synergies entre les technologies afin de :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>r\u00e9duire l\u2019utilisation des intrants agrochimiques de synth\u00e8se comme les engrais et les pesticides, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>limiter les besoins hydriques ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>contribuer ainsi \u00e0 la d\u00e9carbonation de l\u2019agriculture<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les biofertilisants sont des produits biologiques qui contiennent de microorganismes vivants<\/strong> qui, lorsqu\u2019ils sont appliqu\u00e9s aux semences, aux v\u00e9g\u00e9taux ou au sol am\u00e9liorent la croissance et le d\u00e9veloppement par diff\u00e9rents m\u00e9canismes tels que :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>l\u2019augmentation de l\u2019apport de nutriments ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>l\u2019augmentation de la biomasse ou de la surface racinaire ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>l\u2019augmentation de la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019absorption de nutriments par la plante.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les biostimulants sont des produits qui stimulent les processus de nutrition des v\u00e9g\u00e9taux<\/strong> ind\u00e9pendamment des \u00e9l\u00e9ments nutritifs qu\u2019ils contiennent, dans le seul but d\u2019am\u00e9liorer une ou plusieurs des caract\u00e9ristiques suivantes des v\u00e9g\u00e9taux ou de leur rhizosph\u00e8re : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 d\u2019utilisation des \u00e9l\u00e9ments nutritifs ; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la tol\u00e9rance au stress abiotique ; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>les caract\u00e9ristiques qualitatives ; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la disponibilit\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments nutritifs confin\u00e9s dans le sol ou la rhizosph\u00e8re. <em>(R\u00e8glement UE 2019\/1009 du 5 juin 2019).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les produits de biocontr\u00f4le prot\u00e8gent les plantes contre les stress biotiques<\/strong>. Ils regroupent l\u2019ensemble produits phytopharmaceutiques qui sont compos\u00e9s de micro-organismes, de m\u00e9diateurs chimiques tels que les ph\u00e9romones et les kairomones, ou de substances naturelles d\u2019origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale, animale ou min\u00e9rale. <em>(Article L. 253-6 du code rural et de la p\u00eache maritime).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En productions animales, les alternatives aux antibiotiques, la couverture des besoins essentiels en micro\u00e9l\u00e9ments, et les enjeux de r\u00e9duction de production de m\u00e9thane par les ruminants font \u00e9galement appel \u00e0 des bio-solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les bio-solutions, d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 prometteur des algues d\u2019ici \u00e0 2030<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Aujourd\u2019hui le nombre d\u2019acteurs industriels et commerciaux qui proposent des bio-solutions \u00e0 base d\u2019algues pour l\u2019agriculture et l\u2019\u00e9levage s\u2019est fortement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et structur\u00e9. <strong>L\u2019esp\u00e8ce majoritairement pr\u00e9sente dans la formulation des produits biostimulants distribu\u00e9s en France pour les productions v\u00e9g\u00e9tales est <em>Ascophyllum nodosum<\/em><\/strong>. Ce document rapporte que <strong>les march\u00e9s \u00e0 court terme les plus prometteurs pour les algues marines sont les biostimulants, l&rsquo;alimentation des animaux d\u2019\u00e9levage et des animaux de compagnie et les additifs r\u00e9duisant la production de m\u00e9thane<\/strong>. Ils devraient atteindre 4,4 milliards d&rsquo;USD d&rsquo;ici \u00e0 2030. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La r\u00e9alisation de ces potentialit\u00e9s sera soumise \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents d\u00e9fis <\/strong>parmi lesquels le besoin de r\u00e9sultats de recherches probants, la diffusion de recommandations d\u2019utilisation robustes ainsi que la disponibilit\u00e9 de ressources algales \u00e0 la hauteur des besoins tant au plan quantitatif que qualitatif, \u00e0 des prix adapt\u00e9s aux march\u00e9s identifi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Exemples de travaux sur les effets des algues comme bio-solutions en productions v\u00e9g\u00e9tales et animales<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Des modes d\u2019action multiples des algues utilis\u00e9es comme bio-solutions en productions v\u00e9g\u00e9tales<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Des travaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9s par l\u2019unit\u00e9 INRAE EVA sur l\u2019effet d\u2019extraits d\u2019algues chez le colza. Ils ont ensuite \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les <strong>processus affect\u00e9s par AZAL&nbsp;5<\/strong> pour en comprendre les modes d\u2019actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Effet sur la photosynth\u00e8se<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:30% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"347\" height=\"257\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/normandiemaine.cerfrance.fr\/arad2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/effet-AZAL-5-sur-photosynthese.png?resize=347%2C257&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"effet AZAL-5 sur la photosynth\u00e8se\" class=\"wp-image-3314 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/normandiemaine.cerfrance.fr\/arad2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/effet-AZAL-5-sur-photosynthese.png?w=347&amp;ssl=1 347w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/normandiemaine.cerfrance.fr\/arad2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/effet-AZAL-5-sur-photosynthese.png?resize=300%2C222&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 347px) 100vw, 347px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>Les feuilles de colza trait\u00e9es avec AZAL&nbsp;5 ont des teneurs en chlorophylle significativement sup\u00e9rieur aux plantes t\u00e9moins apr\u00e8s 15 et 25 jours.<\/strong> Et le nombre de chloroplastes est significativement sup\u00e9rieur d\u00e8s le premier jour et avec un effet durable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Effet sur la nutrition<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 27%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Apr\u00e8s 30 jours, <strong>les quantit\u00e9s cumul\u00e9es d\u2019azote total dans les parties a\u00e9riennes et les racines ont augment\u00e9 respectivement de 21 et 115&nbsp;%<\/strong>. Toutefois, la quantit\u00e9 N totale dans la plante enti\u00e8re augmente proportionnellement \u00e0 la biomasse. Cela signifie qu\u2019il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019augmentation du stockage d\u2019azote en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 AZAL&nbsp;5. On obtient les m\u00eames types de r\u00e9sultats pour le calcium, le phosphore, le potassium et le bore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><strong>Pour le soufre, on observe une absorption sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la production de biomasse. C<\/strong>ela signifie que AZAL&nbsp;5 augmente \u00e9galement le stockage de soufre vasculaire dans la plante. AZAL 5 provoque donc une meilleure translocation des racines vers les feuilles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A noter qu\u2019on observe le m\u00eame type de r\u00e9ponse avec de la silice et que les algues \u00e9tant riches en silice, cela pourrait expliquer les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices observ\u00e9s par les extraits d\u2019algues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Une r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane gr\u00e2ce aux algues utilis\u00e9es comme bio-solutions en \u00e9levage<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Les ruminants contribuent \u00e0 hauteur de 30&nbsp;% des \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 humaine. La production de m\u00e9thane ent\u00e9rique est li\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 microbienne dans le rumen. Cet \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me est parfaitement adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9gradation et la fermentation des polym\u00e8res v\u00e9g\u00e9taux non assimilables par l\u2019\u00eatre humain. Cependant cette <strong>activit\u00e9 microbienne r\u00e9sulte dans la production d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne m\u00e9tabolique <\/strong>qui est tr\u00e8s vite capt\u00e9 par les <em>archaea<\/em> m\u00e9thanog\u00e8nes et incorpor\u00e9 dans du m\u00e9thane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Des travaux de l\u2019INRAE ont montr\u00e9 que <strong>les algues rouges peuvent r\u00e9duire la production de m\u00e9thane chez les ruminants, gr\u00e2ce aux compos\u00e9s halog\u00e9n\u00e9s qu\u2019elles contiennent et un effet direct sur les <em>archaea <\/em>m\u00e9thanog\u00e8nes<\/strong>. Toutefois, elles entra\u00eenent \u00e9galement une baisse de la production d\u2018acides gras volatils, source d\u2019\u00e9nergie pour l\u2019animal. La suppl\u00e9mentation en algues a \u00e9galement des effets n\u00e9gatifs sur l\u2019ingestion (notamment par manque d\u2019app\u00e9tence due \u00e0 l\u2019odeur) et in fine sur la production laiti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Int\u00e9r\u00eats et limites des algues comme bio-solutions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Une biomasse d\u2019algues renouvelable mais qui reste limit\u00e9e au niveau mondial<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Les extraits d\u2019algues marines proviennent d\u2019une biomasse renouvelable dont la r\u00e9colte ou la culture \u00e9mettent moins de GES, consomment peu d\u2019eau douce et de terres arables par rapport \u00e0 d\u2019autres sources d\u2019intrants d\u2019origine terrestre.
