C\u2019est le concept de Sweet<br \/>Immunity ou d\u00e9fense li\u00e9e aux sucres. Ce concept novateur est \u00e0 la base de travaux men\u00e9s pour trouver des solutions alternatives aux produits phytosanitaires chimiques. Les projets USAGE (2012-2014) puis r\u00e9cemment SWEET (2016-2019) visent \u00e0 comprendre les voies de d\u00e9fenses activ\u00e9es dans la plante et \u00e0 tester des applications foliaires d\u2019infra-doses de sucres sur les plantes pour renforcer et acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le processus de Sweet Immunity. L\u2019objectif global est d\u2019associer des sucres avec des doses r\u00e9duites d\u2019intrants et de faire homologuer ces sucres comme substance de base (comme ce fut le cas pour le saccharose en 2014).
