Ils sont utilis\u00e9s en pr\u00e9ventif pour r\u00e9duire les applications de produits phytopharmaceutiques contre les maladies fongiques et les insectes. Antoine Chedru, agriculteur \u00e0 Goderville (76) s\u2019est lanc\u00e9 dans l\u2019aventure des Extraits Ferment\u00e9s de Plantes. Il s\u2019est form\u00e9 avec Eric Petiot \u00e0 l\u2019occasion d\u2019un stage de trois jours r\u00e9alis\u00e9 au Crozet en 2015. La premi\u00e8re cuv\u00e9e de son Extrait Ferment\u00e9s d\u2019Orties \u00ab Made in Goderville \u00bb est sortie la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e. Cette strat\u00e9gie repose donc sur trois piliers : le choix vari\u00e9tal, la date de semis et la densit\u00e9 de semis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le choix des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le choix vari\u00e9tal est le premier moyen de lutte pour ma\u00eetriser la pression des maladies. Semer une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9sistante peut donc \u00eatre plus efficace que la lutte fongicide dans certains cas, notamment pour le pi\u00e9tin verse par exemple. Il existe des fortes diff\u00e9rences de sensibilit\u00e9 vari\u00e9tale, un atout \u00e0 bien valoris\u00e9 en pratique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eviter les semis trop pr\u00e9coces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus le semis est pr\u00e9coce (fin septembre), plus la culture est expos\u00e9e t\u00f4t aux diff\u00e9rents cycles de multiplication du pathog\u00e8ne, et plus la maladie va s\u2019exprimer t\u00f4t et au final intens\u00e9ment. Le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est sensible dans le cas de la septoriose, de la rouille brune et du pi\u00e9tin verse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eviter les exc\u00e8s de densit\u00e9 de semis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus le semis sera dense, plus les conditions du milieu seront favorables aux maladies (en particulier l&rsquo;o\u00efdium). \u00c0 l&rsquo;inverse, les tr\u00e8s faibles densit\u00e9s peuvent att\u00e9nuer la pression de<br>maladie, mais aussi parfois affecter le rendement. Un \u00e9quilibre est \u00e0 trouver au cas par cas. A minima les densit\u00e9s excessives encore fr\u00e9quentes sont \u00e0 \u00e9viter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les essais men\u00e9s avec les agriculteurs montrent alors des r\u00e9sultats h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes sur c\u00e9r\u00e9ale. Leurs exp\u00e9riences montrent qu\u2019il est donc important d\u2019int\u00e9grer ces produits \u00e0 une d\u00e9marche globale qui repose sur les fondamentaux de l\u2019agronomie : choix de la vari\u00e9t\u00e9, date de semis et densit\u00e9 de semis. La fili\u00e8re du biocontrole est aujourd\u2019hui en pleine expansion, elle est principalement compos\u00e9e de PME. Il y a en France cinq p\u00f4les de comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9s qui explorent de nouvelles solutions. Les pr\u00e9visions de croissances sont de l\u2019ordre de 15 \u00e0 20 % par ans. Esp\u00e9rons donc que ce dynamisme d\u00e9bouche sur la cr\u00e9ation de produit efficace \u00e0 des co\u00fbts accessibles pour les agriculteurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Retrouvez \u00e9galement Antoine
