Facile \u00e0 observer, il est particuli\u00e8rement sensible aux modifications du milieu (travail du sol, usage des terres&#8230;). Pour autant, il est loin d\u2019\u00eatre le seul ! Un bioindicateur est \u00ab un organisme ou un ensemble d\u2019organismes qui permet, de fa\u00e7on pratique et s\u00fbre, de caract\u00e9riser l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me et de mettre en \u00e9vidence aussi pr\u00e9cocement que possible leurs modifications, naturelles ou provoqu\u00e9es \u00bb (Blandin, 1986). C\u2019est donc un organisme qui renseigne sur l\u2019\u00e9tat et le fonctionnement d\u2019un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me. On en distingue 2 types : (1) d\u2019accumulation et (2) d\u2019effet ou d\u2019impact.
