Les limaces peuvent \u00eatre de<strong> redoutables ravageurs pour les cultures<\/strong>. A l\u2019\u00e9chelle de la <strong>rotation<\/strong>, il est important de ne pas<br>enchainer des cultures app\u00e9tentes pour les limaces. Le choix des <strong>couverts v\u00e9g\u00e9taux<\/strong> est aussi important car il peut permettre de r\u00e9duire les populations avec des esp\u00e8ces comme les<br>moutardes et les f\u00e9veroles. Un<strong> d\u00e9chaumage<\/strong> bien plac\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 permet aussi de casser le cycle de reproduction des limaces et donc les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts sur les cultures d\u2019automne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concernant les moyens de lutte, la recherche est aujourd\u2019hui active. Les <strong>nouvelles voies s\u2019orientent actuellement vers le biocontr\u00f4le <\/strong>afin de prot\u00e9ger les cultures tout en r\u00e9duisant<br>l\u2019impact sur la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau et l\u2019environnement. Des produits \u00e0 base de n\u00e9matodes sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 disponibles mais restent encore on\u00e9reux \u00e0 utiliser \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. D\u2019autres substances naturelles sont \u00e9galement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude : extraits de plantes, caf\u00e9ine\u2026 A une \u00e9ch\u00e9ance plus lointaine, l\u2019utilisation des principes de l\u2019\u00e9cologie chimique pourrait compl\u00e9ter le panel de moyens de lutte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019id\u00e9e est de provoquer des changements de comportements de la limace par l\u2019utilisation de substances chimiques issus de pr\u00e9dateurs naturels des limaces principalement les carabes. Des effets r\u00e9pulsifs d\u2019extraits cuticulaires de carabes ont d\u2019ors et d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u00e9vidence. Ces effets pourraient \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans des strat\u00e9gies de push pull compl\u00e9mentaires aux moyens pr\u00e9ventifs et de lutte
