Produire autant voire plus avec moins d\u2019intrants de synth\u00e8se est un v\u00e9ritable challenge. Actuellement, on se focalise plut\u00f4t sur la r\u00e9duction des produits phytosanitaires. Mais, <strong>la fertilisation n\u2019en est pas moins concern\u00e9e <\/strong>et ceci pour plusieurs raisons. Tout d\u2019abord, le prix des engrais devrait en tendance augmenter pour des raisons d\u2019offre et de demande ainsi que de co\u00fbt de l\u2019\u00e9nergie. Nous pouvons prendre l&rsquo;exemple de l&rsquo;augmentation par trois du prix de l\u2019unit\u00e9 fertilisante de phosphore et de potassium en quelques mois, sur la p\u00e9riode 2007-2008. De plus, le phosphore et le potassium sont des ressources non renouvelables. Leurs r\u00e9serves sont fig\u00e9es. L\u2019offre va donc diminuer. Ce qui va entra\u00eener une pression suppl\u00e9mentaire sur les march\u00e9s. Enfin, s\u2019ajoutent des <strong>consid\u00e9rations environnementales<\/strong> : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>eutrophisation, <\/li><li>\u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre\u2026<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>fertilisation azot\u00e9e est le poste principal d\u2019\u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre en productions v\u00e9g\u00e9tales.<\/strong> L\u2019optimisation de la fertilisation sera donc un point cl\u00e9 pour les agriculteurs. <strong>Il est possible d&rsquo;envisager plusieurs pistes<\/strong> : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>am\u00e9liorer la capacit\u00e9 des plantes \u00e0 assimiler <\/strong>et \u00e0 mieux utiliser les nutriments gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la s\u00e9lection vari\u00e9tale, <\/li><li><strong>rechercher de nouvelles formulations <\/strong>des produits, <\/li><li><strong>travailler sur le fractionnement<\/strong> et le positionnement dans le temps des apports. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Une autre approche consiste \u00e0 jouer sur la <strong>localisation spatiale de l\u2019apport<\/strong>. On parle alors de fertilisation localis\u00e9e. En dehors d\u2019une <strong>augmentation possible du rendement<\/strong> (mais pas toujours garantie), la fertilisation localis\u00e9e permet surtout de <strong>s\u00e9curiser les implantations<\/strong>. Notamment lorsque les conditions p\u00e9doclimatiques sont m\u00e9diocres. Elle permet \u00e9galement de<strong> leurrer la culture sur l\u2019\u00e9tat de fertilisation du sol<\/strong>, et ainsi induire la plante \u00e0 mettre en oeuvre tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t son potentiel de rendement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Certains agriculteurs envisagent la fertilisation localis\u00e9e comme un compl\u00e9ment en termes de gestion du d\u00e9sherbage<\/strong>. Effectivement, elle permet de nourrir la plante et beaucoup moins les adventices. D\u2019autres techniques pourraient \u00e9galement voir le jour dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. On peut penser \u00e0 l\u2019enrobage de semences \u00e0 base d\u2019oligo-\u00e9l\u00e9ments et de substances organiques favorisant selon certaines observations un meilleur d\u00e9veloppement racinaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les <strong>possibilit\u00e9s pourraient \u00eatre plus importantes, mais elles se heurtent parfois \u00e0 une l\u00e9gislation contraignante et non adapt\u00e9e<\/strong> \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes particuliers que peuvent \u00eatre le Semis Direct, le Semis Direct sous Couvert de V\u00e9g\u00e9taux ou bien le Strip Till. Il y a encore \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de pistes \u00e0 \u00e9tudier, \u00e0 vous d\u2019essayer, de comparer, de tirer vos conclusions sur cette
